Daniel A. Anderson is an author and writer of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other speculative genres.

His first novel, Children of Vale, was praised by readers as a “great debut,” “a pleasure to read that was hard to put down,” and “different than almost everything else I've read.” It was published in 2018.

Anderson began writing at an early age. After his account of attending a paleontological dig during a summer field trip was published by a local magazine, he wrote short educational articles for local publications throughout his younger years.

He attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore where he majored in Painting with a Creative Writing minor.

His writing frequently focuses on the intersection of religion, government, and psychology, with a heavy interest in the mythological, and a deep curiosity for the ramifications of technology on society and the environment.

Anderson, 36, lives in Seattle.
